In keeping with the General Medical Council’s guidelines on education and confidentiality, the care of patients is our first concern. 

 

These cases are strictly anonymous but they are based on real scenarios, which have been submitted openly and honestly by surgeons for the benefit of their colleagues and their patients. The aim is to help each other in a constructive and supportive environment to keep up-to-date and knowledgeable and to uphold patient safety at all times.
